R58 Mini Cooper S Coupe Hardtop Exhaust system 2012+ Models (DP series) We had to make some changes to VPN 207 DP to clear front cross members on the new R58 Coupe. 507 DP is our Mandrel bent performance exhaust that offers you that deep sound you can expect from all VIP exhaust systems. It also brings some exhaust popping back in to the Mini line, that most of us miss from the R53S. Made from 2.5 inch 304 stainless steel with standard 3.5 inch dual round tips. This is one of the finest exhaust systems that you can purchase. 100% stainless steel. Simple installation. No cutting of the stock exhaust. Bolts up to the factory down pipe using the O.E.M. V-band clamp. Like we said, this system is from the down pipe back, removing the second cat. Therefore, why not protect them now. These will help strengthen the sheet metal towers. They are made from 6061 aircraft aluminum, CNC milled to perfection, 5/8" thick with our custom made nut bolts and laser cut washers so that you can bolt down the full 5/8" thick plate. These are one of a kind. Finish is black powder coated. The fit is like no other. The strut bar clears the stock S intake cover. (Does not clear the JCW lid.)
